Hearts Tournament

In celebration of the recent release of the new Hearts tables, we will be sponsoring our first Hearts Tournament starting on Tuesday, April 29, 5pm eastern/ 8pm pacific. Join us in a little hearts fun, where the top players are the ones at the bottom.

We will start the fun with 12 tables and 48 players; play 2 games of 50 points each. Half of these players will continue playing another 2 games. At the end of the night, the twelve players with lowest scores will move on to play at the next event, Thursday, May 1, 2008 5pm eastern/ 8pm pacific.

Makena's Third Anniversary Party!

Winter There Games 2008 Closing Ceremony

Congratulations go out to all the participants of the 2008 Winter There Games. You all worked very hard to get points for your team, and I hope you all enjoyed every moment of it. It’s been a great run of events, brought to you from 22 different dedicated hosts, over a 14 day period, from quests to racing. A big thank you goes out to all these hosts.

In the end we simply have to congratulate the Peach, Olive and Red Teams for placing first, second and third respectfully. They were an inspiration to watch, from their organization to motivational events and emails it was apparent they gave their all into every event.  You can see the results here.

Sunday we had a very nice closing ceremony, where everyone was invited to stop in and give congratulations to the winners and thanks to the hosts. Many of the key players picked up their jackets and hung around after for pictures. For anyone that missed it, you can see a few of the pictures here.

In the next few days we will be wrapping up the 2008 Winter There Games by having events to hand out the award winning Jackets. The top 3 teams, peach, olive and red will receive a jacket for their hard work. Again this year, Greeter _Max did an awesome job designing them incorporating the winning logo design. WTG to Neema for winning the logo contest.

Winter There Games 2008!!

By now you have heard about the Winter There Games, a fun-filled, action packed, couple of weeks, of winter Olympic type themed events. Everyone can compete, because everyone is already part of team. The color of your nametag designates which team you're on. Sign up today via the Official_TeamAvi.

Today is Day 4 of the games, and there are 10 more days to go. Days packed with races, paintball events, buggy bashes and socials. There is an event for everyone, whether you are a talented hover pack racer or a spades player.
